Hi, everyone!  Welcome to my blog where I talk about my ongoing Slimming World and associated health journeys.  At present, I am working to reduce my 'bad' cholesterol through diet, particularly using the Mediterranean way of eating.

Weigh day tomorrow morning.  Ho hum.  I have tried but we will see . . .

What I ate today:

What I had for brunch.   It was delicious, filling and very SW friendly.
Half a syn for rubbish dressing and one for mixed seeds.

My strategy for the afternoon tea worked.   We were greeted with sparkly stuff and I had nosecco (one and a half syns).
In the end, I had three sandwiches and no cake - I really didn't want to battle with sugar cravings all evening, you see, and it was easier to not have any than to battler not having another and another . . ..  The bread was wholemeal and fillings were egg and cress, ham and cheese.  There was some sort of spread but just a scraping really.  It was delicious and I had a lovely afternoon.

Now for dinner and, oh dear, I didn't forget the photos, I had left the camera on and it was as flat as a pancake.  Suffice it to say, it was on plan.  One healthy extra A, one and a half syns for olives, two for the evoo in my lemon dressing and that was all.  I had an orange for afters.

So low on photos but . .  .
Summary
two healthy extra As (one little sandwich had cheese and it really was a small amount
one healthy extra B - one and a half thin slices of wholemeal#
not sure on syns but it isn't going to be over fifteen.

So yay, me!!
Tomorrow's plans:

B:  the usual fruit, seeds and yogurt

L:  toastie, salad; fruit

D:  cheesy meatball pasta bake (using up the meatballs I made the other day); fruit
I may have to syn extra cheese - after all, it IS Eat-Your-Syns-Friday tomorrow!

Exercise:  rest day

    1. A bonus is that I don't feel over filled with sugary stuff and too much bread. Thanks Sooze. Maybe I am learning in my old age. :-) xx
