Well, well, well. I was very pleasantly surprised this morning when I got on those SW scales and I was half a pound lower than the last official weigh in so still under target and in my happy zone.
Then I went shopping and ooops!! lol Just as well it is Eat Your Syns Friday although, to be honest, it's probably more like Stuff The Syns Friday this week. Not to worry, back on it tomorrow.
What I ate today

When I was in Aldi, I saw a pack of two pieces of focaccia and thought ooooh, bread and cheese, lovely.
And it was although, to be fair, it was much more holey and lighter than the focaccia I make but it didn't taste half as good.
With it I had a bit of cheddar, a bit of feta and some churney.
The cheese is probably both my healthy extras.
Here you go - fish (fingers) and chips and tomatoes instead of peas. Very nice too.
I had other bits and bobs too so it wasn't the best day but no worries . . . as the infamous Scarlett O'Hara said, tomorrow is another day.

My meal plans for tomorrow:
B: fruit, eaten half way round our Saturday walk, weather permitting.
L: the last bean and barley soup with some added smoked fish; fruit
D: sardines on toast with salad on the side; fruit

Well done Joy, you documented everything. I find weigh day the hardest because once I step off those scales immediately I think it’s treat day but, it really isn’t it the first day of a new week. I can honestly say that if I have that treat day guarantee on a Tuesday morning, my weigh day I’m going to gain. I haven’t given in this week although it was so hard.
ReplyDeleteOne member in class had a treat day and she put everything on her food diary and she had 114 syns in 1 day. That’s very hard to claw back in a week. I’ll let you know if it’s worked on Tuesday x
I know exactly what you mean. It is just too easy and that was why I started Eat Your Syns Friday - to make me feel a bit treaty without going over syns. It's not something I do that often nowadays, just scoffing, and today has been fine so that's good.

ReplyDeleteLove a fish finger! I try to eat mostly unprocessed foods but I am realistic.
ReplyDeleteBread & cheese is a great favourite too (especially with a pickled onion or two)!
Been away at my daughters for three days which meant cake (lemon drizzle) when we were out, but in my defence we did do around 12,000 steps!
