Late again. Things will settle again, I promise
What I ate today:
No photos for breakfast (which turned out to be nibbles, ooops, and lunch which was salady cheesy bits and bobs round at Beth's. Very nice too
I did do some nibbling though so it wasn't a great back-on-it day, sadly. Maybe Friday will be better.
Tomorrow's plans
B: fruit and spiced yogurt
L: lamb salad sandwich with salad; fruit
D: cheesy lamb pasta bake; fruit
Exercise: Lindsey's Advent exercises.
The extra bit.
Nothing today but the latest SW magazine has a fairly good A-Z article that is quite general so I might focus on what that is saying for a few weeks.
Don’t you just love leftovers? I especially like the idea of a (sort of) no-cost meal. I’ve already frozen a variety of leftovers which will provide or contribute to meals through January and I’m going to make it an ‘buy only essential foods’ month.
ReplyDeleteWith your interest in health, I’m going to recommend one of my Christmas presents to you. Michael Moseley’s book ‘Just One Thing’. I started reading it this morning after returning from a walk. I also got an exercise mat so my New Year resolutions are pretty much decided!
I expect to weigh-in tomorrow with a gain of 3lb which is manageable.
Yes, I really do. I so sympathised with Mum who always refused to go somewhere for Christmas Day because 'there won't be any leftovers'. I am better with turkey than lamb but am enjoying discovering some good things and I have some turkey leg in the freezer for another time.
DeleteThank you for the recommendation - I will look that out. One might not think so from the last few days but, yes, I am interested in health and am seeking to keep myself reasonably healthy for as long as I can in as many ways as I can. I wonder if it is on Kindle - I will take a look.
Good luck with the weigh in. I have gained more than that but not officially. Must work out when I next HAVE to weigh. Not until the beginning of February, I think.
Happy Twixmas to you, Eloise. xx
Whoops, did it again. Eloise.X

DeleteI think it is on Kindle. I use a Kindle for reading novels but I thought I’d quite like this book to be able to tip in and out of from time to time. I’m very keen on staying as healthy as possible, but as I always say, life is for living, and it doesn’t hurt now and then to just go for sheer enjoyment!
ReplyDeleteI love that your mum wouldn’t go elsewhere for Christmas dinner because they wouldn’t be any leftovers!
When I go to my son and daughter-in-law, I bring them home with me as I know that they will end up in the bin at their house! Today I made a nut roast but everything else was leftovers
Yes, it was on Kindle - and now it is on my Kindle too! :-)
DeleteGood for you bringing stuff home. Much better than wasting it!! xx
