Hi, everyone! Welcome to my blog where I talk about my ongoing Slimming World and associated health journeys. I have managed to reduce my 'bad' cholesterol by eating according to Mediterranean principles and now I want to maintain this.
What I have eaten today.
Breakfast. Several weeks ago I won the SW raffle at group and it was three cans of 'flavoured' baked beans. I though it was about time I started using them so I opened the tikka flavoured ones. They were . . . OK. I won't be buying them again but nor will I be throwing the rest out either.
One healthy extra B and one and a half syns - the can in total was two and a half so I will call tomorrow's one syn.
I was out from eleven until just after four so I took and apple with me and ate that at some point.
When I got home, I wasn't hungry but I wanted something to eat so I had some pickled baby beets for the flavour, an orange and some dried apricot for four syns.
Dinner used up some creamy sauce from the freezer, mixed into chicken, onion, mushroom, red pepper and apple and it was so, so nice.
I have no idea how many syns but it said on the pot 'call it six syns' so I will.
I spent one syn on a Gordon's zero alcohol gin and I think that was it for the day.
Summary:
no healthy extra As
one healthy extra B
eleven and a half syns, approximately.
Tomorrow's meal plans:
B: sourdough waffles, fruit and yogurt
L: beans on toast; maybe an egg on top or maybe I will add some extra veg - onion, mushroom, pepper, tomato . . .; then fruit
D: cannelloni, salad; fruit
Exercise: personal training
