Hi, everyone!  Welcome to my blog where I talk about my ongoing Slimming World and associated health journeys.  At present, I am working to reduce my 'bad' cholesterol through diet, particularly using the Mediterranean way of eating.

What do you do when there are bumps in the road?  Usually I just go for it and accept the consequences but I don't want to do that at the moment because I am currently paying for SW again, being out of target range and I want to stop that asap.
(Just call me Madam Scrooge)

What do you do in those circumstances?

What I ate today:

Well, what with all the goings on round here, I totally forgot to photo breakfast but you have seen it countless times before.  Mango, pineapple, blackberries and raspberries, all from the freezer, with yogurt and chia seeds.
One syn for the chia seeds.

Lunch.
The omelette was a two egger - one of the eggs was a double yolker, to my surprise - just egg, salt and pepper, inside was the rest of the baked beans, drained just a bit, and some finely grated cheese and I sprinkled some Just Spices scrambled egg seasoning over the top while the side was just spray fried red pepper, mushroom and tomatoes with a very little salt.

One healthy extra A for the cheese and one syn for a spray of evoo brushed over the omelette pan.

Dinner was hoisin duck noodles (a Cook's ready meal) and it was absolutely delicious.  I had an apple for afters and now I am comfortably full and satisfied.

Four and a half syns.

Summary:
one healthy extra A
no healthy extra Bs
six and a half syns

Tomorrow's plans:
Tomorrow is a bit problematic as I have been invited to an afternoon tea party from two till four so I am rethinking my planning a bit.

B:  nice, big mushroom and pepper omelette with tomatoes on the side

L:  Afternoon tea:  two sandwiches (aiming for wholemeal bread and egg or cheese, if possible), one cake and plenty of cuppas, small mouthfuls, lots of talking, chew properly, take my time - all that stuff that's supposed to help!

D:  chicken steak, salad; fruit
The idea is to hammer out half a chicken breast, season it and spray fry it, then slice it onto a big old messy salad with olives and mixed seeds.  And then fight the sugar cravings caused by the one cake.  Wish me luck!

Exercise:  SET class and I'm going over to have it live rather than online because of the decorating here
