I'm going a bit bonkers on sourdough at the moment. To avoid waste, I have been keeping and using starter discard (which is just the bit you don't keep, there's nothing wrong with it) and have used it to make pasta, pikelets, crumpets and pancakes which is why these things are suddenly appearing in my planning and photos. As it is 100% wholewheat rye, and it's 1:1 flour/water, it is quite easy to work out how much of a B I can consider them (if at all).
Once the starter is up and running - soon, I hope - there won't be nearly so much discard to I'm making the most of it.
What I have eaten today.
I've been ringing the changes with my breakfasts but I do still love the fruit, yogurt and seeds and that's what I enjoyed today, minus the seeds which I forgot, squashed in between Groove, taking my blood pressure and a visit to the dentist.
To recover from his tender ministrations, I had an apple later on.
Syn free.
Beans on marmite toast - because why not!?
One healthy extra B
Later on, I enjoyed an orange.
For dinner I made some cannelloni using lasagne, a savoury mince portion from the freezer with added puy lentils because I have some in the fridge and the last of Roy's cheesy white bean sauce.
I cooked the pasta sheets, wrapped them around the mince, topped with the sauce and sprinkled over more cheese before giving it a bit of a bake in Nellie.

With a salad on the side, it was lovely!
For afters, I finished off the Skyr baked apple yogurt for one syn.
Two healthy extra As, four syns for evoo in the salad dressing and one syn for some seeds.
Summary:
two healthy extra As
