Hi, everyone!  Welcome to my blog where I talk about my ongoing Slimming World and associated health journeys.

Tomorrow, all the fitness classes start again for which I am very thankful.  I do try to keep the motivation up but it doesn't always go from intent to action.  Bad me!!

What I ate today:

Yesterday (Saturday), I realised a fair bit of the fruit in the fruit bowl was going a bit 'over' so I chopped it all up, added a bit of extra stuff ,added some lime juice and made a nice big bowl of fresh fruit salad which I intended finishing off today.
So I had some for breakfast and it was delish!
Half a syn for chia seeds in the yogurt and one syn for mixed seeds - I'm doing my best to get fully back to my Mediterranean vibe again now!
How I enjoyed this lunch - leftover Christmas lamb, roasties, onion. parsnip, carrot and sprouts with gravy made from lamb stock.  Oh, and mint sauce.
I had more of the fruit salad for afters.

Two syns for gravy and one for mint sauce.

I weighed out some nuts for a late afternoon snack.  Six syns.
And my favourite for dinner - a cheese and chutney toastie with leaves and a coleslaw made with red cabbage, carrot and a few grapes dressed with my salad dressing.
Afters was some more grapes
One healthy extra B, one and a half healthy extra As, one and a half syns for the chutney and three syns for the dressing.

Summary:
one and a half healthy extra As
one healthy extra B
fifteen syns - so right at the top.
Tomorrow's plans:

B:  egg on toast with leaves, etc, on the side

L:  broccoli and butterbean soup; fruit

D:  herby chicken potato topped pie, assorted veg; fruit

Exercise:  circuits, squats and balance

  1. I think I'll have to get some Berries and chop them up into a pot of yoghurt. Your photo looks so tasty and healthy

  2. Cheese & chutney toastie - now on my mind!
It’s going to happen, I just know it is!
I often eat chopped fruit and yogurt and sometimes warm the fruit through in the microwave (and no, I don’t syn it because it’s hot)!

    1. Yeah - sorry but it's a great SW friendly meal, isn't it, especially with salady stuff on the side. xx
