Sunday, 19-01-25

Hi, everyone!  Welcome to my blog where I talk about my ongoing Slimming World and associated health journeys.  At present, I am working to reduce my 'bad' cholesterol through diet, particularly the Mediterranean way of eating.


What I ate today:

Today's fruit was some apple from the freezer and a couple of plums.  The plums weren't all that nice - maybe I need to spend a bit more next time.
One syn for some chia seeds.
I think that might be the last of the lamb and veg soup made just after Christmas.  It was so good.  
I had two easy peelers for afters.
One healthy extra B for the croutons and the rest was syn free.

Lovely evening meal.  A whopping big salad, a small-ish jacket potato and the spicy beans.
Pretty much two As for cheese, three syns for evoo in the dressing and one syn for some light salad cream on the potato - because I just have to, I really love it.
An orange for afters.

Tomorrow's plans:

B:  fruit, seeds and yogurt

L:  roast beef dinner
Alex is over for a lunch and he loves a roast.  This is part of the half price joint I bought in Morrisons before Christmas.

D:  cheesy beef toastie (leftovers as always after a roast!), salad; fruit
