Monday, 05-05-25

Hi, everyone!  Welcome to my blog where I talk about my ongoing Slimming World and associated health journeys.  I'm now in my target range and want to keep this steady while following Mediterranean diet principles and the Slimming World structure.

Isn't it funny how sometimes the meal ideas come so easily and flow off the pen onto the planning sheet.  Right now, I have a mental block about what to have for lunches.
I think I need to read back over past posts to revisit what I have enjoyed in the past.

What I have eaten today.

Waffles (h.m. buckwheat) with strawberries, raspberries, yogurt and mixed seeds.

Three syns for the waffles and one syn for the seeds.
I'm not synning the waffles because I had some bread in the afternoon.
The second half of the pasta bake from Saturday with a salad.

Three and a half syns for the pasta dish, one healthy extra A, one syn for seeds and half for dressing

Dessert was a couple of easy peelers.

Later on, I munched on some  h.m. bread for two Bs
I air fried cubes of potato rather than chip.
All syn free except for the salad cream - one and a half syns.

Summary:
one healthy extra A
two healthy extra Bs
ten and a half syns

Tomorrow's meal plans:

B:  egg on toast

L:  salad bowl with Romesco sauce

D:  cheesy chicken pasta bake
- using some of the cheesy bean sauce

Exercise:   Groove and the walk there and back
