Wednesday 11-12-19

Things are a bit upside down right now, I'm not 100% and I need to think over an approach that will lower my cholesterol so - any advice will be gratefully received.
Thanks.

I'll be back!

  1. I've been reading that cholesterol levels can go up after losing weight and this has happened to us too. We are on sw plan. Fibre helps bring cholesterol down, oats are especially good. Two or three portions of oily fish per week and less red meat. We have two veggie days. Beans on wholemeal toast is high in fibre so we have that for lunches sometimes. We are also having supermarket own brand cholesterol lowering drinks. We don't have butter or spreads anymore and just the spray oil. Good luck. We are doing all we can but I suspect we will end up on meds.

  2. I've been reading around and everywhere says that those Benecol drinks (or the supermarket equivalent) are really good and do help, so I'm going to build one in each day.
It's my own fault really - I've been going well off plan, partly stress related/comfort eating, and I've been avoiding Slimming World. I will be going tomorrow for a quick weigh and a restart and I'm making a list of things I need to have more of and things I need to have less of.
    Here's hoping!
    xx
