Tuesday, 16-01-24

Good morning, everyone.
This past weekend has been really difficult.  Maybe it's the cold weather, but it's been a hungry couple of days - although I don't think 'hungry' is the word, more just wanting to eat really.  I haven't done all that well in coping so it's a great relief that yesterday went much, much better.  Phew.

Yesterday's meal photos:

Breakfast was just some fruit.  This was lunch and really nice.  I made a dressing with one tsp each of evoo (two syns), orange juice (squeezed from an easy peeler and I ate the rest) and lemon juice.  a tiny bit of Dijon mustard and a small pinch sweetener.  Once all mixed together, it was really nice.

Dessert was some plums and an orange.
Quite like Sunday's main meal - not surprising seeing as most of the veg was cooked then and reheated.
Mini plums and a pear did me for afters,


Today's meal plans:

B:  bacon, egg, tomatoes, sausage, mushrooms
I'll have this after Groove class and I'm sure it will go down a real treat.
SW  two syns for a sausage

L:  cheesy turkey chutney toastie, side salad; fruit
Using up brown turkey leftovers and very nice too.
SW:  one and a half healthy extra A, one healthy extra B, one and a half syns for chutney, one syn for mixed seeds and one syn for lightest mayo

D:  Chinese turkey curry, rice; fruit
 . . . using some Mayflower curry sauce, cooked turkey and added veg, lots of veg!!
SW:  four and a half syns for the curry sauce

Exercise:  Groove class and housework
