Yesterday's photos:
In the bag were two little cheese spread and cucumber rolls but they'd all squidged in my handbag so I didn't get them out for the photo. They were nice though; there's something about eating in the open air, isn't there?
The falafels for lunch were lovely, as was the mint dressing and I've put a link to the latter below. There are six left, they need to be eaten up quickly so I'm having exactly the same thing today.
I nibbled on a babybel light when I got back from the allotment.
I've had this before, Aldi's smoky bbq chicken, but I don't recall it tasting so sweet. Either my tastebuds or their recipe has changed. It was OK but could have been nicer although I can see how I can make it myself, keep the smokiness and get rid of the sweetness. I ate the lot (a generous portion) and didn't then have room for any yogurt for dessert.
So - yesterday's calories:
the planned meals: 1158 cals
plus one babybel = 42 cals
minus one yogurt = 80 cals so the final total is 1120 calories
B: waffles with fruit and yogurt
I'm going to make them with wholemeal SR flour today because they do come out crisper with flour than with out bran or oats and I want crispness this morning, I think.
40g wholemeal SR flour - 125 cals
one egg = 78 cals
one Mullerlight = 80 cals
150g mixed berries = 40 cals
10 mls agave nectar - 28 cals
total = 386 cals
SW: one heB, half a syn for the yogurt and one and a half syns for the agave nectar
L: more falafels
Just because they need using up and they were delicious. I shall make the yogurt sauce too. The link is here.
the falafels = 215
the dressing = 35 cals
salad = 50 cals approx
fruit = 55 cals approx
total = 355 cals
SW: six syns for the falafels
D: chicken pad thai, yogurt
Another ready meal, a sort of fresh ready meal and it looks very nice. If it's as nice as the tikka masala was the other day, it'll be good.
the whole pack = 273 cals
yogurt - 80 cals
total = 353 cals
SW: like the other one, there's no mention of it on the SW site so I have no idea of its syns. It can't be a lot though, judging by the calories and the fact that most of it is chicken, noodles and veg which are all free foods
Body Magic: forty minutes of personal training with Lindsey.
Summary:
I don't know the SW values because of the dinner, unfortunately. It doesn't happen very often though.
1094 calories
