Good morning - I mean afternoon!

I'm back!  It's been a lovely four days but real life must continue so here we are, home again with an eating plan/method/system/structure/whatever you want to call it to start again.

I'm going to skip the 'yesterday's meals' bit today because it's not helpful in the least bit and this morning I went for the cooked breakfast, just this once, something I had planned to do anyway.

I have so enjoyed the not-0% fat Greek yogurt this week that I think I'm going to continue with it and paying the syns - goodness knows, I don.t usually have all that many syns, do I?

Today's plans:

B:  It was very naughty!  All the things I haven't had this week - and sausages, TWO sausages.  I have to say they were good quality sausages too.

L:  poached eggs on toast, tomatoes; fruit
D (one of the people in our group) told me how she makes poached eggs  by wrapping the egg in clingfilm.  I'm going to give it a go and I'll let you know.
SW:  half a healthy extra B for one slice toast

D:  something from the freezer, probably chicken (leftovers from the roast chicken last Sunday), chips and maybe salad veg, if there's any worth having in the fridge.

Exercise:  I strongly suspect that I will be crashing out in front of the old telly to catch up on things I have missed, like Sewing Bee.   I've done loads this week so it won't hurt.

Summary: starts again tomorrow!

From the freezer
bread
chicken

  1. Since hubby has been told to eat full fat everything I have been indulging in the full fat greek yoghurt and you're so right - nice! I am going to stick with it as I am telling myself that some fat is good when one reaches a certain age! Your break sounded lovely. xx

  2. I’m glad you’ve done the fat in Greek yogurt! It is a game changer! Also
Last week I did buy a pot of fat free Greek yog and had that but topped it with measured full fat ( I use sainsrobbers or M & s authentic own or 10% if I cannot get to Sains or M&S ) and it was so nice to have a bit more! Good for those greedy days I have and there are a lot BUT it’s not a habit I want to return to! The fat free I mean!

    1. Blogger is being a right pain at the moment! I still have some 0% for when I make pancakes or anything when it's going to be mixed with flavouring but the 5% is just lovely, just like cream.
